Pilgrim Path Week August 2017 <firstname.lastname@example.org>
On behalf of the Pilgrim Path Committee, I would like to invite the Galway Walking Club to join us on our special Heritage Week celebration of the Irish Pilgrim Paths. While these captivating medieval paths are open all year, for Heritage Week they will be even more accessible as we will be providing knowledgeable local guides, and you will be part of a group.
Our Heritage Week celebration takes place in four counties over six days:
Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th August – St. Finbarr’s Pilgrim Path, Drimoleague to Gougane Barra, Co. Cork. 37km
Monday 21st August – Cnoc na dTobar, Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry. 9km
Tuesday 22nd August – Cosán na Naomh (The Saint’s Path), Dingle, Co. Kerry. 18km
Thursday 24th August – St. Kevin’s Way, Hollywood to Glendalough, Co. Wicklow. 30km
Saturday 26th August – Tóchar na Phádraig, Ballintubber to Murrisk, Co. Mayo. 30km
All walkers who complete the full 125kms will receive a Teastas Oilithreachta (Pilgrim Completion Certificate).
