The 21st Annual marathon and half marathon will take place on Saturday 12th August 2017. As there will be no Ramble or hill walk on Sunday August 13th, the club would like your support in doing the walk on marathon day.
The marathon brochure will soon be available for those wishing to join us on Saturday 12th August.

- Pre-registration is required for both the Full and the Half Marathon. The registration fee for the full marathon and half marathon is €30.

Registered participants for full marathon can collect their numbers from 7 – 7.55 a.m. & half marathon participants from 8.30-9.25 at the Community Centre, Maam Bridge.
Walkers will be taken by bus to the start of the walk, the Full Marathon bus departing the centre at 8am and the Half Marathon bus departing the centre at 9.30 a.m.
All participants should bring a packed lunch, have walking boots and rain wear. Runners for the road sections are optional. Participants may drop out at any checkpoint.
For safety reasons please let those manning the nearest checkpoint know if you do wish to drop out at any stage of the walk and transport will be arranged back to the centre to “check-out”..
